Top Ten Tuesday: Top Series I Need to Finish

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we discuss topics through lists, and I love lists.

This week's topic is: Freebie Week! So I've chosen Top Ten Series I Need to Finish

Legend by Marie Lu - Champion is begging to be read.
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead - I'm on Blood Promise, so there's still a bit of a way to go.
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi - Into the Still Blue is waiting for me.

Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz - Only two more left to go in this series, read through them so fast, I needed a break.
Breathe by Sarah Crossan - I still haven't picked up Resist, even though I loved the first book.

The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney - I already own The Rivals, not sure why I haven't read it yet.
The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan - The House of Hades has waited too long.
Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood - I haven't picked up Star Cursed yet, but it's pretty up there on the list to buy.

And two series I know I will finish as soon as the third and final books come out:

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin - The Retribution of Mara Dyer needs to be out now!

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - Isla and the Happily Ever After is going to be so cute, can't wait to get my hands on it!

Top Ten Tuesday: Series I Want To Start

This week's Top Ten Tuesday, a wonderful meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, is all about series that we want to start. Mine will mostly be series that I own but haven't gotten around to reading yet! So here goes:

Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet:

1. Shifters by Rachel Vincent: This is the top series I need to start! It took me so long to find all six of these books, yet they are still low on my TBR list. I think I need to move them higher!

2. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld: The first book in this series is undoubtedly sitting on my book shelf. One day I'll get to it!

3. Need by Carrie Jones: I picked up the first two at Value Village and then found the third one for $5.99 at Chapters. So I practically own the whole series yet haven't read any of them. I hope they're good.

4. Healer by Maria V. Snyder: I read her Insider series and loved it, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this series as well, just haven't gotten to it yet!

5. Darkness Rising by Kelley Armstrong: Another series I've started by owning the first book. Yet again, this needs to be higher on my list!

6. The Cahill Witch Chronicles by Jessica Spotswood: This may actually be the next book I read, so it really should be further up on this list, but oh well. It's been on my bookshelf the least amount of time, I'm a strange one I know.

7. The Call of the Forgotten by Julie Kagawa: I loved The Iron Fey series, but I have yet to pick up this book. I know I'll read it eventually though!

8. Blood of Eden by Julie Kagawa: Yes, this will be read eventually too, it's just not on my shelf yet.

9. The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare: I own Clockwork Angel, but I haven't finished The Mortal Instruments yet so I haven't started this next series. I like the books, but I'm not a huge fan of them so it may take a while to get around to this one.

10. Recommend a tenth one to me?

Top Ten Tuesday: Rewind

Top Ten Tuesdays is a weekly featured hosted by The Book and the Bookish where each week there is a different Top Ten list for all of us to get giddy over. This week is rewind week, where we pick one of the past topics that we missed or wanted to try again.

Top Ten Series I Haven't Finished

1. Matched series by Ally Condie: I read Matched quite awhile ago and I really liked it, but I've owned Crossed since it came out and I have yet to read it. I plan to finish this series eventually because I do want to know what happens next!

2. I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore: The Power Of Nine came out two months but I've been holding off on buying it. Not sure why because I love this series.

3. Firelight by Sophie Jordan: I just bought the final book, Hidden, and it's right at the top of my to-read pile. I can't wait to see how Jacinda's journey will end!

4. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare: I've read the first two in this series and have City Of Glass on my book shelf. I'm not fully committed to this series. I like it enough that I'll watch the movie and I'll finsih the series, but it hasn't reached me like many other books have. But who knows, there's still a lot to read by Clare.

5. The Body Finder by Kimberley Derting: I read the first one and thought the idea behind the series was interesting and unique. I had planned on picking up the other two but something stopped me. I'm not sure I'll finish this series because I have a feeling the other two books will be exactly the same. I could most definitely be wrong though.

6. The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter: After reading the back of The Goddess Interrupted, I didn't like where the story was planning on going so I didn't buy the book and probably never will. I didn't like The Goddess Test enough to finish the series.

7. Anna Dressed In Blood by Kendare Blake: This is another series where I want to read the next book but just haven't picked it up yet. I think it's because there are so many other books I want to read before it and I'm waiting until it's close to the top of my pile before I spend the money on it. But I plan on picking up Anna Girl Of Nightmares.

8. Bewitching by Alex Flinn: I'm only including this because technically I think it's the sequel to Beastly? At least according to Goodreads it is. Beastly is one of my favourites and Alex Flinn is a great writer. I've read all her other fairy tale retellings so this is on my list of to reads.

9. The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice: I read Interview With A Vampire in college and I absolutely loved it! I've been meaning to read the rest of this series because it will forever be the best vampire series (I know this after only reading one!) Rice proves she's the Queen of Vampires and I'd love to dive back into that world.

10. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling: I'm sure why I stopped reading after The Order Of The Phoenix but I own all seven books and eventually I will finish Harry's story.
